To help new visitors better understand the HOHY Club website, this page provides a list of commonly used terms and abbreviations. Each term includes a brief explanation and, where applicable, a hyperlink to its detailed description elsewhere on the website.

Month-to-Date (MTD)

From the 1st day of the month through the current date and time, with the period ending on the last day of the month. MTD is used for Monthly Award calculations and general system calculations and reporting, including member headcount, referral commissions, and other monthly statistics.

Quarter-to-Date (QTD)

From the 1st day of the quarter through the current date and time, with the period ending on the last day of the quarter. QTD is used for Quarterly Award calculations and general system calculations and reporting, including member headcount, referral commissions, and other quarterly statistics.

Year-to-Date (YTD)

From January 1 through the current date and time, with the period ending on December 31 of the same year. YTD is the standard annual period used for general system calculations and reporting, including member headcount, referral commissions, and other annual statistics.

Accumulated-to-Date (ATD)

From the member's initial enrollment date through the current date and time.

Half Year-to-Date (HYTD)

From July 1 through the current date and time, with the period ending on June 30 of the following year. HYTD is used for Scholarship and Anniversary Award Program calculations.

Christmas-Award-to-Date (CATD)

From January 1 through the current date and time, with the period ending on November 30 of the same year. CATD is used only for calculating Achievement Points for the Christmas Award Program.

5. Brief Description

Priority Member (PM)

An eligible individual who may join HOHY Club without paying an initial membership fee, subject to the applicable membership requirements.

Gold Member (GM)

An individual or small business that joins HOHY Club by paying the one-time $30 Gold Membership fee, subject to the applicable membership requirements and Membership Agreement.

Fundraiser Member (FM)

An eligible school, orphanage, nonprofit organization, or other qualified organization that joins HOHY Club as a Fundraiser Member without paying an initial membership fee, subject to the applicable requirements and Membership Agreement.

Fundraiser Member (FM-)

A Fundraiser Member (FM-) is an organization that has enrolled but has not yet accumulated sufficient referral commissions for the initial $30 membership fee to be deducted. Once sufficient referral commissions are available, the $30 membership fee is automatically deducted and the account is upgraded from FM- to FM. No additional action is required from the organization.

1-Star Gold Member (1-Star GM)

A Gold Member who qualifies for 1-Star GM status under an eligible HOHY Club Award, Benefit, Community, or Voting Program. A 1-Star GM receives 100 additional Re-entry Positions, subject to the applicable program rules.

Star Gold Member (Star GM)

A Gold Member who has earned one or more GM Stars through eligible HOHY Club programs. Each GM Star provides 100 additional Re-entry Positions. Star levels range from 1-Star GM through 9-Star GM, with 9-Star GM as the maximum level and a maximum allowance of 1,000 Re-entry Positions.

Invited Early Supporter Gold Member (IES GM)

A Gold Member who joins and supports HOHY Club during the Invited Early Supporter Stage and receives the benefits provided under the Invited Early Supporter Gold Member Program.

1-Star Invited Early Supporter Gold Member (1-Star IES GM)

An IES GM who qualifies for promotion to 1-Star IES GM under the Invited Early Supporter Gold Member Program.

Re-entry

The process by which an eligible GM or FM starts another membership cycle after the applicable re-entry fee is deducted from the member's referral commission account.

GM Award Programs

Programs through which eligible GM members may qualify for awards based on the applicable program rules.

GM Benefit Programs

Programs that provide eligible GM members with scholarship and life improvement opportunities, subject to the applicable program rules.

FM Award Programs

Programs through which eligible FM members may qualify for awards based on the applicable program rules.

FM Benefit Programs

Programs that provide eligible FM members with scholarship, SFD, and Special Case FM Assistance opportunities, subject to the applicable program rules.

Community Programs

Programs designed to encourage member participation, recognition, voting, testimonials, competitions, fundraising, and community support.
