Code of Ethics

The HOHY Club (Helping Others Help Yourself Club) is committed to building a trustworthy, respectful, and supportive community. Every member is expected to uphold the following ethical principles while participating in the Club's programs and activities.

1. Act with Honesty and Integrity

Members shall conduct themselves honestly, ethically, and in good faith. Members must not make false, misleading, or deceptive statements regarding the HOHY Club, its programs, or potential member benefits.

2. Respect Others

Members shall treat fellow members, prospective members, employees, volunteers, and community partners with courtesy, dignity, and respect. Harassment, discrimination, intimidation, abusive language, or personal attacks are not permitted.

3. Follow Applicable Laws

Members are responsible for complying with all applicable local, state, federal, and other laws and regulations while participating in HOHY Club activities.

4. Present the Club Accurately

Members shall represent the HOHY Club truthfully and accurately. Members must not guarantee earnings, exaggerate program benefits, or make promises that are inconsistent with the Club's published materials.

5. Protect Member Privacy

Members shall respect the privacy and confidentiality of personal information obtained through the HOHY Club and shall not misuse or disclose such information without proper authorization.

6. Responsible Communications and Marketing

Members shall promote and communicate about HOHY Club responsibly. Spam, deceptive advertising, unsolicited bulk messaging, misleading promotions, or other unethical marketing practices are prohibited. Members must also comply with HOHY Club rules regarding political, religious, adult, illegal, and other prohibited content.

7. Support a Positive Community

Members are encouraged to contribute positively by sharing constructive ideas, supporting community activities, encouraging new members, and helping create a welcoming environment for everyone.

8. Avoid Conflicts of Interest

Members shall avoid activities that could create actual or apparent conflicts between their personal interests and the interests of the HOHY Club. Any potential conflict should be disclosed when appropriate.

9. Protect the Club's Reputation

Members shall conduct themselves responsibly when participating in, representing, or engaging in activities related to HOHY Club. Fraudulent, deceptive, malicious, or other improper conduct that damages the Club's reputation, interferes with its operations, or undermines member confidence may result in disciplinary action.

10. Report Misconduct

Members are encouraged to report suspected fraud, abuse, policy violations, or unethical conduct to the HOHY Club. Reports made in good faith will be reviewed fairly and confidentially whenever reasonably possible.

Knowingly making a false or malicious report is itself a violation of this Code of Ethics.

11. Compliance

Failure to comply with this Code of Ethics, the Membership Agreement, or other applicable HOHY Club rules and policies may result in disciplinary action, including warnings, suspension, restriction of program participation, or termination of membership, as determined by HOHY Club in accordance with applicable rules and circumstances.
